Genie Sound Advice will be organizing, together with Singex, Awaken Your Dreams, a whole-day charity event on 26 June 2011 (Sunday), held at Singapore Expo Hall 4.

“I’ve always felt more blessed to give in whatever we can than to receive. This 26th of June, as it is my birthday, I decided to give back to society by helping patients who are beyond hope by the terms of medical intervention. I was humbled by what I had learnt through Biomedical Law and Ethics about end-of-life patients,” says Genie君怡in her personal letter appealing for donations.

On that day, Genie君怡 will be launching a charity album “Dreams & Awakenings”, in the form of a thumb drive, with an original song titled “Between Dreams and Awakenings” specially written for this cause. There will also be the finals of a talent contest for anyone who has any kind of talent.

The highlight of the full day event is a concert featuring Genie君怡, before rounding up the event with the announcement of the winners of the talent contest, as well as the highest bids for the online charity auction of her personal items.

All proceeds from this charity event will go to HCA Hospice Care.
