Marking a good close to the year 2011, Genie had the privilege of co-authoring an article for publication in the Asian Journal on Mediation 2011 with Associate Professor Joel Lee, titled “Value Creation in Mediation”. A special “thank you” to Joel for this opportunity and to the Singapore Mediation Centre for the publication.

This article shares with readers how the much-talked-about “win-win” situations in negotiations may be achieved through understanding the concept of value creation and applying a systematic methodology to achieving it; and adds to Genie’s collection of publications, touching on a variety of topics, all relating to effective communication skills.

And here’s a 30-sec Rock-and-Roll version of “Mary Had A Little Lamb” which had been specially arranged by Genie at the turn of the new year 2012… to wish everyone a rocking great year ahead! Enjoy…

The SOE Board of Governors has chosen Genie to receive the award this year from Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State for Trade & Industry, on 14 November 2011.

Watch Genie perform “live” her new song, titled “Dreams & Awakenings”, written specially for this charity project, along with other original songs, at a special launch concert on 26 June 2011 Singapore Expo hall 4.

Performing with her will be an acappella group, Rhapsody, who were the champions of the college category of the National Acappella Championships 2010. The concert is scheduled to start at 2.30pm, and will last for an hour.

Album sets will also be on sale there on that day, so do make a date with us to attend this meaningful event!

On the same day, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, you can also get to catch the finalists of the “Dreams Come True” talent quest in action, vying for the top 3 places.
