it is 5am in the morning and i was at the tube station entrance waiting for the coach to come pick me up! *yawn*
phew! looking more awake now... on board the coach heading to the jetty for my ferry to Paris.
seagulls. i've seen more seagulls at close proximity than i ever saw any other of its relatives in the bird species. that's primarily because they are just not afraid of human beings! seagulls aren't shy at all!
i spent most of my time on board the ferry just bird watching... *slight neck ache. lol*
included these 2 pictures just cos i thought they are hilarious.... the 1st picture featured a lil boy "touching" my thigh and the next picture depicted the expression i had on my face. hahahaa.... absolutely candid, i promise.

No it isn't a thriller. But yes, it is that exciting in my opinion, nonetheless.
Do NOT watch it if you wish for pretty looking actors and actresses in the movie because there is only about a grand total of ONE good looking English bloke who plays a minor role in the movie.
Watch it if you want to learn some French because the subtitles provided in English are pretty close to what they actually speak in French in the movie.
Overall rating i'll give this movie: 4/5
All set to watch some awesome theatre in London!
Les Miserables is on at Her Majesty Theatre! :) Tickets are priced reasonably so i'm in for a treat! The show was really good, the singing was crisp and the acting was moving... I teared along as the plot developed :")

WASABI. rememberrrrrrrrr this shop name in London! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! this is a japanese food chain store in London. i wonder how they even make it... cos the food is BAD!!!! to the max! major disappointment! i didn't even finish half of what i ordered! :(

there are tons of little italian bistros peppered across the city of London. common sight if one sets foot in central London at least. italian food can be rather pricey when it is good and authentic.
but here we are... at an italian bistro just round the corner from Strand... set lunch for just 5 pounds! yummm...
looking very satisfied after lunch. *burp* hehehe...

checking out the British Museum today...
look at that crowd! on a MONDAY AFTERNOON????????? *gasp* impossible! looks like iv got to squeeeeeeze my way through the museum to take a look at the exhibits!
nothing beats a yummilicious local HOT DOG bought from a push cart just outside the museum for a snack after an afternoon museum visit! ingredients: generous serving of onions over freshly cooked hot dog in between the softest bun on earth! slap on some mustard and chilli sauce... BRAVO!

i was hungry.... and then i found THAI SQUARE along strand avenue! gonna check it out...
ordered the prawns, chicken side dishes and basil prawn with rice. seriously, the food they serve here is about the most authentic you can find around London, trust me... operated by a Thai team and owned by a Thai boss, the cuisine here is TO DIE FOR if you are craving for something hot and spicy! :)
I FOUND CHILLI PADI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! such a rare find!
you MUST pardon my "over-reaction" here... hahahhahaha...
and yes, i seem to be eating it like it's a dish on its own! i can't help it! i digggggggg chilli and it is a RARE FIND IN LONDON! :)

an early evening view from London Bridge... i feel a certain sense of serenity just standing there in the breeze, watching people pass me by for a good 5 minutes of my life...
this is the night view... the sky quickly darkened in just those 5 minutes. "dark" can be beautiful too, isn't it?
this shall serve as a piece of memory of me standing on London Bridge, spending that few minutes of my life... UNTIL....
until a sudden gust of wind came so strongly that i nearly felt my skirt flyingggggggggggg! arghs! the evil person i happened to be with was an opportunist and decided to NOT help me with holding down the skirt but took a picture of my moment of struggle instead.
ok time to head back home after the skirt flying incident... the TUBE is the way to go in London!!!!!!!! :)

i'm back in london and the air is cooler in the nights but sun is still as hot as fire in the afternoons *pant pant*
a sneak peek into my room in the apartment... can't help it that the rent is so sky high in Central London and i live in the heart of it! :P
but there's certainly great food places around where i live and that includes really yummy steak and chips! :)

i might not have seen the Loch Ness Monster but i sure saw his brother! lol. Btw, that's ilsa whom i met in Scotland. she's looking too serious with me beside her... lol
this was what i meant in my previous blog entry... the grass... so dry, yet so soft, the blades so tender, so GOOD TO ROLL ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the grass lands in this part of the world. trust me, i'm a clean freak and the grass is cleaner than your bed at home!!!!! haha...
can't help it that i'm having so much fun doing this all the time! haha.
this is my view of the sky from where i lay on the grass land... i'm just spending time trying to find animals in the clouds... i think i see a duck with its head turned backwards! :) such glee... thanks for everything, Scotland!

wakie wakie... it's my first try at "bed and breakfsat"... it's really something... i got the experience the most traditional things... the bed, the breakfast... literally! cheese, homemade jam, butter with toast, scottish tea, homemade freshly squeezed orange juice, lovely ham and poached eggs!
mirror, mirror on the wall... who's the fairer of us both? *giggle* i talk to him every morning before i head out of the house :) i secretly gave him a name. i call him Colin.

i really don't know what's gone into me. i must be still trying to get used to being driven all the time... i ALWAYS fall asleep in a moving vehicle (trust me, ANY vehicle!) arghs... can't get the "zzz monster" out of me!!!!

joined a local tour on my 1st day in Scotland just to orientate myself and find out a little more about the Scotch culture. this is Robin, the guide. wearing the classic kilt fashion and playing us a beautiful tune on the pipes! :)
