Genie Sound Advice is an approved partner of SDF to provide training for employees of SMEs. The training programmes can be held at your office premises or at our training studio.

Course 1: Sales Speech Training

How to master the art of selling and close the sale effectively without coming across as hard-selling?

Duration: 7 hours (over 4 weekends)

Course 2: Presentation Speech Training

Effective communication across all levels within an organization can boost efficiency n productivity levels.

Who is it for? For anyone who needs to regularly delivers presentations for internal staff or higher management.

Duration: 7 hours (over 4 weekends)

SDF Approval Criteria

SDF provides funding for our courses as follows:

* SMEs are defined as companies with at least 30% local ownership, with Fixed Assets Investments of not more than $15 million, and if it is in the service sector, employment size of not more than 200.

How to apply for SDF funding

1) Sign up as a applicant company on the SDF website.  To do so, please visit the website at: http://www.sdf.gov.sg

2) After approval, the applicant company needs to fill up the Form Sen 2 available at the SDF website under ‘Forms and e-Guides’.

3) After filling up the Form Sen 2 online on the SDF website and submitting it to them, it is sent to Genie Sound Advice Pte Ltd for approval. (Please note that the Form Sen 2 must be signed by the CEO of the company.) When approval is given, then the applicant company makes the net payment to Genie Sound Advice Pte Ltd.

4) An invoice will be issued by Genie Sound Advice Pte Ltd to applicant companies for the net payment of the course fee, to be paid as requested on the course webpage.

Criteria for SDF approval of funding

1) The applicant company must be registered or incorporated in Singapore.
2) The trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR) of Singapore.
3) The trainees must be direct employees on the company’s payroll.
4) The company must financially sponsor the total cost of training.
5) The training course must be relevant to the company’s main business activity.
6) The trainees must attend 75% of the course to obtain SDF funding.

The trainees’ education qualifications’ and designations’ will not be considered as criteria for funding in our courses.
